"Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love."

About Me
I was born in New York near the shores of the Hudson River. Growing up, I found peace by taking long walks along the river with my father. Through this upbringing I learned early that strong relationships, meaningful communication and time spent in nature are powerful healing resources.
I hold a current license as a mental health counselor and earned my MA in Counseling through the Leadership Institute of Seattle, a college of Saybrook University. I have a vibrant private practice that includes both individual and group work, workshops and wilderness opportunities. In addition, I work with applied touch energy medicine, Jin Shin TARA, to directly communicate and intervene with your nervous system while supporting the work with therapeutic techniques.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed the journey of healing for thousands of lives. As a mental health therapist, nature based therapy guide and facilitator of group and individual transformational process, I am intimately familiar with guiding clients toward healing using a wide range of methods. I have facilitated numerous groups including:
Nature Based Wilderness Quest
Grief and Loss Support
Trauma Survivorship
The TARA Approach: Jin Shin TARA for treating Shock and Trauma
As a student of both Buddhism and mindfulness practice, I bring a deep faith in both the innate goodness of each person and the path that each of us takes, no matter how dark or confusing. As a writer, I bring an appreciation for the stories we create about ourselves and how to rewrite them. As a traveler and adventurer, I bring a deep knowing that no journey is impossible given the proper resources and support systems. And as a daughter, mother, life partner, aunt, best friend and community member, I deeply believe in the "power of relationship to heal what has been wounded in relationship." (attribution)
I have dedicated myself to living an authentic life, full of intention, joy and love. It is my greatest hope to support each person whom I work with toward their highest aspiration. Whether through your work with me or another, may you find deep peace in your heart, joy in your days and a rich community of people around you.
